With just a single subject, Kim’s art evokes a feeling or lets the viewer tell their own story of the painting from their perspective. She enjoys painting a range of subjects as real and ancient as a tree to subjects completely made up through her imagination transforming a never before seen landscape into something very familiar. Both her literal work and inner visionary work are inspired by nature and both have a surreal quality expressed through her intuitive color palette. She doesn’t just paint a tree, she captures its essence. And with her more visionary work the landscapes have been described to turn into orchestras, mountains, people, and interpretations of chakras. Kim is pleased and honored to show some of her most recent works inspired by nature and the changing seasons.
